In the 15 years of their history IDIMTs have proven to be a truly interdisciplinary and international forum for the exchange of concepts and visions in the area of software-intensive Systems, Engineering of Complex Systems, Information Engineering, Knowledge Management, System Thinking, Business Engineering, Information Technology, Information Management and related topics. The increasing importance of information as a vital resource requires the consideration of synergies in an interdisciplinary and holistic cooperation of various disciplines such as electronics, software engineering, sociology, management techniques, business, and education.

IDIMT involves a multi-national, multidisciplinary audience in discussing up to date and evolving topics and issues. The conference will follow the well-established pattern of a single stream of sessions, each introduced by a keynote and followed by shorter position papers, their full text being included in the proceedings. At least 20 minutes are set aside at each session for a plenary discussion.

Draft versions of keynote papers are available at this web site to permit participants to formulate their positions.
The proceedings of the Conference will be published in the Series “Informatik” of the "Universitätsverlag Rudolf Trauner, Linz, Austria" with an ISBN-number. They will be available at the start of the Conference.
